The clinical benefits of preventing hypothermia are well established. Blood and fluid warming is an important element in the care process, helping to maintain normothermia.
NormoTherm uses high thermal transfer technology to deliver effective blood and fluid warming over a wide range of flow rates. The system has an ultra-fast warm-up time and is simple to set up, operate and clean. Operating costs are low due to the use of standard giving sets and extension lines.
Inditherm's blood and fluid warming system can be used for most routine applications. With insulated or heated sheath between the warming unit and the patient it can cope with very low flow rates. The NormoTherm systems are ideally suited for use in the operating room, emergency room, critical care and any clinical settings where simple, fast and effective fluid warming is needed.
The NormoTherm system uses a high thermal transfer, solid state technology heat exchanger. The design provides exceptional heating path length to deliver high performance. Patented safety features include three independent temperature sensors.
NormoTherm is suited for routine situations, and has an insulated sheath. NormoTherm XT gives enhanced performance for more demanding applications, such as low flow rates, using a heated sheath for the fluid line the patient.
