Inditherm is pleased to announce that they
have been awarded the prestigious SAFEContractor certification status for
maintaining high standards of health and safety for service operations in the
United Kingdom.
The scheme assesses the health and safety competency
of contractors and is recognised by many organisations who accept the
SAFEContractor certificate as a primary means to select contractors to work on
their premises.
The award was presented to Inditherm following an
extensive period of assessment of the Company's health and safety documentation
that is compared to the required SAFEContractor Charter Standards before
accreditation can be obtained.
SAFEContractor works by assessing the health and
safety competency of contractors and adding those that achieve the required
standards to a database of 'approved suppliers'. Prospective clients can then
search the database for information on a contractor's capabilities. Clients have
a legal obligation to ensure that contractors operate in a safe way and
SAFEContractor offers them a simple way to access a list of approved
contractors.
The SAFEContractor certificate acts as a confirmation
of competency and a reassurance to clients that the health and safety practices
of a contractor have been properly assessed.
Richard Harpum, CEO, said, "This is a credit to
all employees at Inditherm, especially those who work at our customers'
sites."
